Daniel Tosh has become a regular Las Vegas performer.

This weekend marks the beginning of the end for one of the Strip’s most buzzed about productions, as “Peepshow” kicks off its final run at Planet Hollywood. But if burlesque isn’t quite up your alley, there are entertainment options aplenty for music fans, foodies and more with this weekend’s best bets:

    • Thursday-Sunday: "Peepshow" at Planet Hollywood

After a four-year run, "Peepshow" will bid farewell Sept. 1. Join star Coco Austin and the rest of the cast as Bo Peep and the Peep Diva journey through the music-filled contemporary burlesque hit one last time. Shows run Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 9:30 p.m. and Saturday at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $37 to $127.

    • Steely Dan at The Pearl in the Palms on Oct. 13, 2011.

Friday: Steely Dan at the Palms

Forty years after releasing "Can't Buy a Thrill," jazz-rock legends Walter Becker and Donald Fagen return to Las Vegas this weekend with their "Mood Swings 2013: 8 Miles to Pancake Day" tour Friday night at the Pearl at the Palms. Tickets to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers start at $80. The show starts at 8 p.m.

    • Saturday: Battle of the Year at Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip

Come watch the USA Crew Eliminations for what some call the Olympics of breakdancing this Saturday afternoon at Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip. The event, leading up to the world finals, features local favorites like Knucklehead Zoo and Full Force, as well as a special performance by UNLV's Rebel Girls. The event is 1 to 9 p.m., and tickets are $18.

    • Comedian Daniel Tosh.

Friday-Saturday: Daniel Tosh at the Mirage

Sharp-tongued comedian Daniel Tosh brings his button-pushing brand of standup to Terry Fator Theater at the Mirage this weekend as part of the venue's Aces of Comedy series. Tosh was recently nominated for "Comedy Special of the Year" at the 2012 Comedy Awards and hosts Comedy Central's hit series "Tosh.0." Shows start at 10 p.m. Guests must be ages 16 or older to attend. Tickets are $65, $75.99 and $95.99.

    • Courtney Love is the featured performer for Vinyl's first anniversary at the Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas.

      Thursday-Friday: Courtney Love at Vinyl

The reigning queen of grunge rock has cleaned up the headline-making antics of her past and is returning to Las Vegas this weekend with a pair of shows at Vinyl in the Hard Rock Hotel on her (thus-far) well-received solo tour. Fans can look forward to a night of Hole hits, as well as tunes from her previous solo records and cover songs. The show is 9:30 p.m. Thursday and 10:30 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $35 to $47.

    • Lou Gazzara as Elvis, with Tara Palsha as Ann-Margret, in “Vegas! The Show.”

Sunday: "Vegas! The Show" Fashion Show at Pure

Rounding out Las Vegas Fashion Week, the stylish singers, dancers and showgirls of "Vegas! The Show" head to Pure at Caesars Palace after their evening show at Saxe Theater in Planet Hollywood to host a sartorially savvy night of fun. Fans are invited to hang out with the cast beginning at 10 p.m.
