Car driver faces DUI count after crash leaves motorcyclist in critical condition

A motorcyclist is in critical condition after a collision early Sunday with a driver who is suspected of driving under the influence.

Motorcyclist Robert Myles, 40, was eastbound on Flamingo Road around 2:15 a.m. at a high rate of speed when he crashed into a Toyota Corolla turning left into a private drive in the 8300 block of West Flamingo, according to police reports.

Myles was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition.

The Corolla’s driver, Lacey Rifle, 27, failed field sobriety tests and was arrested on a count of felony driving under the influence, police said.
