With holiday shopping upon us, one question is whether retail businessses have hired adequate staffs for the number of would-be customers.
It is clear that potential customers are blown off by the long lines that become the norm at many retail businesses and restaurants.
It is clear to me that incompetent business policies, not the alleged anti-business atmosphere in the White House, are the reason the economic recovery is slow.
I call for a change. Let’s hire enough salespeople and cashiers to handle the would-be customers; then, the desired business pick-up and boom would materialize.
Let this be the season of quick attention to needs of the customers and let us not kick the solution and full recovery down the road.
