A federal grand jury on Tuesday indicted a 32-year-old Las Vegas man on charges of child pornography.

Henry Genaro Macias faces federal charges of sexual exploitation of a child, receipt of child pornography, possession of child pornography and advertising child pornography.

He also faces three counts of lewdness with a child under 14.

A Metro Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigation led to the arrest of Macias. He has been a Las Vegas resident for five years, living near Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Road and working in furniture stores, police said.

His initial appearance and arraignment in federal court are scheduled for 3 p.m. Dec. 18 before U.S. Magistrate Judge Carl W. Hoffman.

Metro said its investigation is ongoing.
