Metro Police are investigating a homicide at the South Point tonight.
Police officers were called to the resort, 9777 Las Vegas Blvd. South, at 6:22 p.m. on a report of a robbery, Lt. Harry Fagel said.
Homicide detectives are now investigating a "suspicious death" at the resort, Fagel said. The homicide investigation is in its preliminary stages, he added.
One person has been detained, but Fagel could not comment on details.
