Driver flees after four-vehicle crash on Las Vegas Strip

A four-vehicle crash on Las Vegas Strip sent three people to the hospital Sunday afternoon.

According to Metro Police, a man driving a red 2001 Lincoln Navigator rear-ended a 2012 Ford Escape about 12:42 p.m. near City Center Place.

The impact from the collision forced the Escape into the rear of another vehicle, while the Navigator moved to the right and hit the left rear end of a 2009 Pontiac G6, according to a police statement.

Following the collision, the driver of the Navigator exited the vehicle and fled northbound on foot without speaking with any of the people involved in the crash, police said.

Three people involved in the crash were transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by Metro’s Accident Investigation Section. Anyone with information is asked to contact Metro at 702-828-3786 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
