Smashburger’s Sin City Burger

Smashburger's stamp is about to get bigger in Southern Nevada.

Self-proclaimed as America's fastest-growing "better burger" joint, the restaurant plans to open a new location July 24 at 7390 Las Vegas Blvd. South, at the Las Vegas Premium Outlets center at Warm Springs Road.

The opening will mark Smashburger's sixth location in the Las Vegas Valley. Management expects to open two more shops by the end of the year.

The Smashburger name comes from the cooking style of its chefs. They say "the secret is in the smash."

The restaurant touts its use of 100 percent fresh angus beef that's never frozen. That beef is then "smashed" on a 400-degree flat iron grill to sear in the flavor.

Smashburger operates more than 200 locations in 29 states and four foreign countries.

The new location will be open from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.

  1. Thriving local business! Glad to hear about it!

  2. Tom, I've tried all of them, but would have to say it's a matter of personal preference which one you think is better. Personally, I'd rank Smashburger higher than 5 Guys or FatBurger.

  3. @Tom be warned, there is some cholesterol involved!!!!
