Authorities have released the identity of the 25-year-old woman found dead in her home Thursday in east Las Vegas.

Amber Lorraine Peirson, 25, was found dead with multiple stab wounds at a home in the 4000 block of Sunrise Avenue, near Stewart Avenue and Lamb Boulevard, according to the Clark County Coroner's Office.

Metro Police detectives are searching for Christopher Rodrigo Salguero, 23, as a suspect in the apparent homicide of Peirson. Salguero may still be in the neighborhood with some friends and could be traveling on foot, Metro announced.

He is described as a Hispanic male, standing close to 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 185 pounds. Salguero has short black hair, a jewelry stud on his bottom lip, multiple tattoos on his forearms and wrists, and his last name tattooed across his upper back.

Metro asks that anyone with information about the case or the whereabouts of Salguero contact the department's Homicide Section at 828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
