I can’t understand the suicidal impulses of the Republican Party, which has alienated almost every group in America.
By their disrespect of President Barack Obama, labeling blacks as takers and trying to block black votes by any means possible, they have lost black support.
There is almost no chance that House Republicans will pass an immigration reform bill, so they will lose the Hispanic vote.
They show no respect for Asians or Native Americans. And though they claim they’re not at war with women, you wouldn’t know it from their actions. They oppose abortion rights on the state and federal level. A majority of congressional Republicans voted against the Lilly Ledbetter Act, which calls for equal pay for equal work for women, and a similar majority voted against the Violence Against Women Act.
They also want to raise the age at which you can start collecting Social Security.
Over the cliff they go.
