Crash leaves motorcyclist in critical condition


A motorcyclist suffered a severe head injury Tuesday night after crashing into a car in southwest Las Vegas.

Metro Police responded to the collision between a car and motorcycle about 6:10 p.m. at Fort Apache Road and Saddle Avenue. The male motorcycle rider was transported to University Medical Center with major head trauma, and is not expected to survive, Police said.

No one else was injured in the incident, police said.

Metro Police is investigating the incident.

  1. Here we go again! Another motorcyclist killed or injured, presumably because of some stupid antic by the guy driving the bike. And, yesterday, on Sahara, east of the Boulevard, I witnessed another nut on a bike, weaving in and out of traffic and going nowhere by doing it. I swear, some of these guys never learn and are their own worst enemies.
