51s suffer lopsided loss at Tacoma

The Las Vegas 51s were limited to six hits Saturday in an 11-0 loss at Tacoma.

Tacoma scored eight runs in the initial three innings, winning for the second time in three nights against the 51s in the four-game Pacific Coast League series.

Jamie Hoffmann’s ninth inning double was the 51s’ lone extra base hit, while Collin Cowgill had the only multi-hit game with two singles.

The final game of the series is at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Las Vegas hosts Tacoma Monday at Cashman Field to open an eight-game home stand.
