A suspect in a Monday morning stabbing near downtown Las Vegas has been taken into custody, Metro Police said.
Police received a call at 5:31 a.m. about a man who had been stabbed near the intersection of Carson Avenue and 10th Street, a block away from Fremont Street, Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.
The victim was transported to University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, Meltzer said.
Police took a suspect into custody after receiving a tip via a 911 call, she said.
More information about the suspect was not immediately available.
