Joe Downtown: Job hunting? Downtown Project now listing its openings

Downtown Project, a multitargeting downtown redevelopment agency, is posting job openings for the first time on its website,

As of Tuesday afternoon, DTP posted openings for:

• A construction project manager

• A small-business bookkeeper

• Container Park manager

• Several people to work in a new medical clinic, in partnership with Iora Health. Those openings include administrative assistant, health coach, nurse innovator (RN), nurse practitioner, primary care physician and social worker.

Downtown Project, a redevelopment business whose partners include Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh, has purchased dozens of acres downtown, mostly east of Las Vegas Boulevard and relatively close to Fremont Street.

Joe Schoenmann doesn’t just cover downtown, he lives and works there. Schoenmann is Greenspun Media Group’s embedded downtown journalist, working from an office in the Emergency Arts building.
