Former UNLV and current Oklahoma coach Lon Kruger watches a tournament at Rancho High in Las Vegas. Kruger says he has been keeping an eye on the progress of his former team. “We’re huge fans of what they’re doing and expect them to continue to do well.”

Three years after it was built and two years after he left for Oklahoma, former UNLV basketball coach Lon Kruger’s Las Vegas home is up for sale. And for most people it would cost more than a few parlays to meet the price tag.

Kruger’s five-bedroom, eight-bath, two-story home is on the market for $4.95 million. Located within the Enclave at Southern Highlands Golf Club, the home covers more than 10,000 square feet with a view of the mountains and a heated pool in the backyard. Kruger listed the home just ahead of this year’s NCAA Tournament, where his Sooners were knocked out in the Round of 64 by San Diego State.

Kruger and OU football coach Bob Stoops can compare notes on real estate as Stoops is also selling a home right now. His Norman, Okla., home, on the market since last year, is can be yours for a mere $1.9 million.
