A man in a motorized wheelchair was taken to the hospital after he was hit by a car this morning.
The incident happened about 10:54 a.m. near Flamingo Boulevard and Duneville Street, Metro Police Officer Laura Meltzer said.
The man was taken to University Medical Center, Meltzer said, but she did not have details about his injuries.
No information was immediately released about the driver or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
