A Clark County manager has been charged with a felony after being arrested Saturday for soliciting an underage prostitute, according to Metro Police.

Donald Coburn has worked for Clark County for 16 years, most recently serving for the past year as head of animal control and code enforcement, where he earned a salary of $77,812.80.

He wasn’t at work Tuesday and is using his vacation time while he’s away from work, county spokesman Erik Pappa said.

Pappa said there was no timeline for when a more formal decision will be made about Coburn's status with the county.

Coburn was arrested Saturday by Metro Police and is charged with one count of soliciting or engaging a child prostitute.

This version clarifies Coburn’s current title with the county.
