Police are again asking for help finding a Las Vegas photographer who skipped his September hearing for child pornography charges.

William Clyde Thompson, 52, had been on house arrest when he was scheduled to appear at a preliminary hearing in Las Vegas Justice Court on Sept. 11. Justice of the Peace Janiece Marshall ordered a bench warrant without bail when Thompson did not appear, according to court records.

A criminal complaint filed last year charges Thompson, 53, with seven counts of use of a minor in producing pornography and three counts of lewdness with a child under age 14.

Metro Police arrested Thompson on Nov. 25, 2012, after the department’s sexual assault section investigated allegations that he took photos and videos of a boy in “sexually explicit situations.”

Police think Thompson might be linked to other cases outside the United States. The case is currently under review for federal prosecution.

Anyone with information about Thompson’s whereabouts is asked to contact Metro’s sexual assault section at 702-828-3421. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
