The Clark County Coroner has released the identity of a man who died when his motorcycle collided with a car Thursday morning.
William Spellman, 51, of Henderson was driving his motorcycle east on Horizon Ridge Parkway around 7 a.m. when, according to Henderson Police, a westbound Dodge Neon driven by a 17-year-old made a left turn in front of the motorcycle on to Rich Perez Jr. Drive.
The collision ejected Spellman, causing critical injuries. He was taken to St. Rose Dominican Hospital-Siena Campus, where he died a short time later.
The teen driver of the Dodge Neon was not injured, police said.
The crash is still under investigation.
The death was the sixth traffic-related fatality in Henderson this year.
