Fatal accident
A woman was hit by a vehicle and killed late Friday while walking across North Pecos Road outside a marked crosswalk.
The woman, 57, was traveling west across Pecos about 300 feet south of Lake Mead Boulevard when she was hit by a northbound Cadillac DeVille, Metro Police detectives said. She was pronounced dead shortly after the crash about 11 p.m.
It was Las Vegas’ 75th traffic-related fatality this year.
The man driving the Cadillac was not charged in connection with the incident.
