Jaren Campbell scored on a 60-yard touchdown run on the first play of the game today for the Palo Verde High football team, giving the Panthers a 45-0 homecoming victory against Spring Valley.
Darrion Finn had three touchdown on three carries for Palo Verde, scoring on runs of 23, 15 and 15 yards. Parker Rost accounted for two Palo Verde scores, finding Jake Ortale for a 77-yard scoring strike and rushing for a 9-yard touchdown.
Kicker Bradley Matsukawa made all six of his extra points. It was the first shutout of the season for Palo Verde (5-1 overall, 2-0 Northwest).
