Blinking Man Rave Ride, which has been described as “Burning Man on wheels,” happens tonight when hundreds of bicyclists adorned with lights take to the streets of downtown Las Vegas.

The free ride begins at 7 p.m. at the Huntridge Tavern, 1116 E. Charleston Blvd.

On a Facebook site, about 360 people said they would attend the event, which will include food trucks and live DJs

After drinks at the Huntridge, they will ride into neighborhoods south of Charleston Boulevard, with an 8 p.m. pit stop at Lady Silvia lounge. By 9 p.m., they’ll be at 5th Avenue Pub; 10 p.m. at the Atomic on Fremont Street; then 11 p.m. back to the Huntridge Theater parking lot, just east of the Huntridge Tavern.

An advisory on ride’s Facebook page says, “Don’t get plowed, you can still receive a DUI on a (bike).”

The ride “is intended to be slow roll. A cruise. A parade of sorts,” it also says. The pedal pub will lead the riders, “so no need to worry about where to go.”
