I wonder what dream world the writer of “We have the right to refuse health care” (Oct. 19) is living in.
People taking responsibility for their health? I wish. Obesity is at an all-time high. Sitting with an electronic device for hours at a time does not constitute exercise for children. We eat fast food instead of healthy meals.
Where is the responsibility? These are the people who end up in emergency care with no insurance that taxpayers end up paying for. There is no easy solution to make us a healthier nation, but with the ACA, but maybe it’s a start toward that goal.
