NLV police hunt suspect in sexual assault of child

North Las Vegas Police are looking for Guadalupe Barrales, 32, who is suspected of sexually assaulting a child earlier this month.

North Las Vegas police are asking the public for help finding a man suspected of sexually assaulting a child earlier this month.

Guadalupe “Lupe” Barrales, 32, allegedly abused the child on Oct. 17 near Commerce Street and Carey Avenue, an area Barrales frequents. The victim’s gender and age were not disclosed, though police said the child is less than 14 years old.

Police said Barrales works as a dishwasher in the area of Rampart Boulevard and Alta Drive. He has a scar across the left side of his forehead, weighs about 180 pounds and is 5 feet, 8 inches tall. His hair and eyes are brown.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the North Las Vegas Police Department at (702) 633-9111 or Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555. Crime Stoppers tipsters could be eligible for a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest or indictment.
