Fires at office trailers called suspicious

Suspicious fires at a pair of office trailers Monday night caused about $100,000 damage, but the cause has not been determined, Clark County Fire Department officials said.

Nobody was injured in either incident.

The first fire was reported about 9 p.m. at an unoccupied trailer at 3250 East Sahara Avenue. Locked gates delayed county and Las Vegas Fire and Rescue crews in reaching the trailer, but firefighters eventually extinguished the blaze, officials said.

While battling the first fire, another fire was reported nearby at a mobile building at 3290 Fremont St.

About 40 firefighters responded to the fires.
