Robbery
Metro Police detectives are asking for help finding a robbery suspect who allegedly targeted a victim he met through social media.
The victim, whose age and gender were not disclosed, told police that the pair met online on Aug. 27 and then in person on Aug. 29.
While they walked together near Flamingo Road and El Capitan Way about 5 p.m. on Aug. 29, the suspect allegedly pulled a gun and pointed it at the victim’s head, demanding money.
The gunman then ran away, police said. He is described as about 25 years old, stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.
He has short, black hair and brown eyes.
