Years ago, when I was a high school student, the city of Wichita, Kan., struggled with flooding. Someone came up with the idea of creating the Big Ditch.
Through the years, the Big Ditch has been a godsend, eliminating flooding.
Why not fly a couple of Las Vegas engineers to Wichita to observe firsthand how to take care of a problem?
I’m sure all the individuals who had their cars damaged by floodwater, as well as homeowners having to live through a horrible experience, would appreciate our authorities traveling to Wichita to observe the Big Ditch.
