Metro Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was discovered inside a home with a suicidal man early Saturday.
Lt. Nichole Splinter said police found the woman after officers were summoned to a home on the 5800 block of Sleepy Spruce Street about 8:14 a.m. They also found a man who had been hurt in a failed suicide attempt, Splinter said.
The man was hospitalized and treated for minor injuries. Police could not specify how he’d hurt himself.
It was not clear how the woman died or whether the man would face charges in connection with her death.
