The Las Vegas 51s finally lost a game.
Didi Gregorius’ game-ending three-run home run in the 11th inning tonight gave the host Reno Aces a 10-7 victory against the 51s, snapping their six-game winning streak in the final game of an eight-game road trip.
Despite the loss, Las Vegas (12-4) has the best record in the Pacific Coast League. The mark is also the best record to start the season in the 32-year history of the Las Vegas Triple-A franchise.
Taylor Teagarden and Anthony Seratelli hit home runs for Las Vegas, which also received a 3 for 5 performance with a run scored and RBI from Eric Campbell.
Las Vegas returns to Cashman Field at 7:05 p.m. Saturday for a series against El Paso, the Triple-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres
