Stabbing
A double stabbing this afternoon sent two people to the hospital, according to Metro Police.
Metro detectives are investigating the incident, which happened around 2 p.m. in the 6300 block of West Tropicana Avenue near South Torrey Pines Drive, said Officer Jesse Roybal, a Metro spokesman.
One of the victims was transported to University Medical Center and the other to Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Roybal said, noting the severity of the victims' injuries is unknown at this time.
No one is in custody at this time, Roybal said.
