An elderly man is in critical condition today after crashing his Nissan Armada on the 215 Beltway near Buffalo Drive, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.
Highway Patrol was called just before 5 p.m. and the man was taken to St. Rose Dominican Hospitals' San Martin campus, Trooper Loy Hixson said.
The investigation is ongoing, but a medical condition is thought to have caused the single-vehicle crash, Hixson said.
No roadways are blocked as a result of the accident, he said.
