Bishop Gorman forward Chase Jeter dunks on Centennial during their game Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014. Bishop Gorman won the game 73-50.

Bishop Gorman’s Chase Jeter is set to reveal his college decision to the country. Jeter, a top-10 player in the class of 2015, will announce his decision at 4 p.m. Monday on ESPNU live from the adidas Nations tournament in Los Angeles, ESPN announced today.

The 6-foot-11 forward has vaulted up the national rankings in the past two years, putting himself in elite company with other class of 2015 locals like Las Vegas High’s Ray Smith and Gorman teammate Stephen Zimmerman. Smith, who recently tore an ACL, announced last month that he’s going to Arizona. Zimmerman’s decision isn’t expected anytime soon.

The perceived favorite for Jeter is Duke, though UNLV has been in the mix the entire way. Jeter’s father, Chris, was on the 1990 national championship team, and the trio of Chris, Chase and his mother, Kim, were all on UNLV’s campus earlier this week. Of course, they were at the Mendenhall Center for USA Basketball practice, where Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski was running the show.

Other schools that have been in the hunt for Jeter are Arizona, UCLA, Kansas and Oregon.
