Heavy moisture in the air may produce thunderstorms throughout the valley today, leading the National Weather Service to issue a flash flood watch until 10 p.m.

The flash flood watch will affect various parts of the valley, including the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, northeast Clark County including Overton, and southern Clark County including Henderson.

Western Clark County and Southern Nye County are under the flash flood watch, as well.

Southern parts of the valley have already begun to experience some light rainfall, the weather service said.
