One person suffered from smoke inhalation after a mobile home caught fire this afternoon in the northeast part of the valley.
At 3:43 p.m., Clark County firefighters responded to a mobile home fire near Walnut Road and Las Vegas Boulevard, spokesman John Steinbeck said.
They arrived to find the fire engulfing about 50 percent of the trailer. The victim had already evacuated. He suffered smoke inhalation but refused treatment, Steinbeck said.
Damage is estimated at about $40,000.
