Apparently, like the current GOP Congress, the writer of the July 28 letter “Understand the role of Congress” doesn’t understand its role, either.
House Speaker John Boehner said he received 50,000 signatures on a petition to sue the president of the U.S. More than
1 million signatures said he should not.
Also, Jerry Mouch, a friend of more than 50 years, wrote a letter to the editor of the Cincinnati Enquirer to say that Boehner should not.
Republicans’ achievements include shutting down the government, raising interest on student loans, trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act 62 times, having another investigation into Benghazi, no gun control, no immigration reform, no increase in the minimum wage and no new jobs to fix our infrastructure.
Also, this GOP Congress has been the most nonworking Congress in the history of the U.S.
This is only arrogance and ignorance. If the GOP Congress was surprised by House Majority Leader Eric Cantor’s fall, wait until 2016.
