A 3-year-old child was taken to the hospital after nearly drowning today at the Flamingo hotel pool on the Las Vegas Strip, the Clark County Fire Department reported.
At 1:15 p.m., the child was reported to have fallen into the water, Fire Chief John Steinbeck said.
The child was out of the water and breathing before emergency officials arrived, Steinbeck said.
No other details were immediately available.
