Matt Reynolds had two triples and three RBIs today for the Las Vegas 51s in a 6-4 victory at the Iowa Cubs.
Las Vegas (70-55) trailed 3-2 before Reynolds’ three-run triple in the fifth inning gave the 51s the lead for good.
Iowa put two runners on base in the ninth inning with one out, but 51s closer Ryan Reid recorded the final two outs to end the game.
Josh Satin went 2 for 3 for Las Vegas and Cesar Puello scored two runs.
The series continues tomorrow in Iowa.
