A woman has been arrested in the shooting death of a man last week at a northeast valley apartment after an argument about money, Metro Police said.

Anishya Douglas, 21, was taken into custody in Ogden, Utah, at about 4 p.m. Wednesday.

On Aug. 6, Douglas arrived at an apartment in the 1700 block of Marion Drive, near Owens Avenue and Nellis Boulevard, where she allegedly got into a physical altercation with the victim over money and a game of dice, police said.

She shot the victim several times before fleeing the scene.

Douglas will remain in Ogden while she awaits extradition back to Las Vegas, police said.
