Metro Police are investigating a fatal stabbing that happened Sunday evening in the eastern valley, officials said.
A 911 caller reported a stabbing at 6:17 p.m. in the 2500 block of Karen Avenue, near Eastern and Sahara avenues, Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said. Officers arrived to find a male with stab wounds.
The victim was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he died, Meltzer said. His age wasn’t immediately known.
Metro homicide detectives responded to the scene, but no suspects have been taken into custody, police said.
