A man’s body was recovered Sunday afternoon in Lake Mohave near where a California man was reported missing after jumping from a boat earlier this month, National park Service officials said.
A visitor spotted the body floating near Cottonwood Cove and called the Lake Mead Interagency Communication Center about 1 p.m., officials said.
A 31-year-old man jumped from the boat without a life jacket and disappeared in the water on Aug. 16.
The National Park Service and Nevada Department of Wildlife have been searching for the man.
The Clark County coroner will determine the identity of the body.
