I recently read Republicans are angered by President Barack Obama having the audacity to take a vacation and play some golf. I think I’ve come up with a plan that will help the president relax and will meet with the approval of Republicans (especially Sens. Lindsey Graham and John McCain) in the hard-working, never-take-a-break Congress.
The president should take another short break for a quick round of golf. Before hitting his drive off the first tee, he should announce that he’s sending American troops to Syria (where they will stay until there’s a regime change), Iran (to destroy its nuclear development program), Iraq (to shore up the “democratically elected” government), and Ukraine (to stop any potential Russian advances).
Then he should announce that he’s cutting taxes on everyone (including corporations, as they are people) by 50 percent, so the new wars will be funded by borrowing money.
Republicans absolutely loved that idea 13 years ago, so they should approve of it again. What could possibly go wrong?
