A woman died at Burning Man early today after reportedly falling under a bus, according to the festival's official website.
A post on the website said the bus had been carrying participants of the event, which takes place in the Black Rock Desert north of Reno. Few other details have been released.
"This is a terrible accident," said Burning Man co-founder Marian Goodell. "Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends and campmates. Black Rock rangers and Emergency Services Department staff are providing support to those affected."
Burning Man said event organizers were cooperating with investigators from the Pershing County Sheriff's Office.
