Las Vegas recruits top lobbyist from Metro Chamber of Commerce

Las Vegas has recruited the Metro Chamber of Commerce’s top lobbyist to oversee the city’s government affairs department, the city announced today.

Brian McAnallen will be responsible for shaping the city’s legislative agenda and coordinating with state and federal lobbyists. He’ll also oversee the city’s lobbying team at the upcoming legislative session. He'll start as government affairs manager on Sept. 22.

McAnallen had served as vice president of government affairs at the Metro Chamber of Commerce since 2011. He has previously worked as a lobbyist in Carson City and Washington D.C.
