A heavy police presence accompanied the serving of a warrant today at a Henderson house as part of a federal investigation.

Henderson Police served a warrant about 8 a.m. at a house in the 800 block of Sandhill Sage Street, near South Eastern Avenue and West Horizon Ridge Parkway, spokeswoman Kathleen Richards said.

The warrant was served in connection with an investigation by the FBI and officials in Canfield, Ohio, Richards said.

Special Agent Vicki Anderson of the FBI’s Cleveland Division said records in relation to the investigation have been sealed.

“There was activity in Ohio and Nevada today,” Anderson said.

No further details about the investigation were available.

Neighbors said there was a large police presence and marked and unmarked police cars at the house this morning. They also reported seeing officials wearing Drug Enforcement Administration vests.
