Metro Police have identified a man accused of robbing a west valley Red Lobster at gunpoint Thursday night.

Dillon Webb, 28, walked in to the seafood restaurant on Decatur Boulevard near Meadows Lane just before 9:45 p.m. and threatened customers and employees with a handgun, police allege. He demanded money and later fled on foot with the cash register, police said.

In the parking lot, Webb confronted a customer who was carrying a concealed weapon and fired a warning shot that caused Webb to drop the register and flee, according to police.

Witnesses pointed out where Webb had fled, and officers found him behind a nearby building attempting to change his clothes, police said.

Police said they recovered the cash register and gun. No one was hurt in the incident.

Webb was being held at the Clark County Detention Center on two counts of robbery and assault and one count of burglary, authorities said.
