Metro Police were on the scene of barricade situation in the northwest valley for about two hours Saturday afternoon.
The incident began around 2 p.m. when a man who was burglarizing a house in the 3000 block of Breton Drive was trapped inside as officers arrived, Metro said. Crisis negotiators and SWAT arrived around 3 p.m.
The man surrendered to police around 4 p.m. without incident, Metro said.
It's unknown whether the man was armed, and nobody else was inside the house, Metro said.
Police said the house and nearby streets were clear and that residents would be able to return to their homes within the hour.
