U.S. 95 improvement project closes onramps, restricts lanes this week

The Nevada Department of Transportation announced today that they will be closing the northbound onramp to the U.S. 95 at Ann Road this week.

Starting on Tuesday, the onramp will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. while crews prepare to widen the right side of the U.S. 95's northbound lanes from Ann Road to the 215 Beltway. The left side of the 95 from Horse Drive to the 215 Beltway will also be prepared for widening.

In addition to the Ann Road onramp closure, lanes on U.S. 95 from Ann Road to Durango Drive will be restricted nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The closures are part of the U.S. 95 Northwest Corridor Improvements Project. This closure represents Phase 2A, which will widen the roads from Ann Road to Durango Drive. The project costs $35.7 million.
