Detectives have arrested a Las Vegas man after an investigation revealed sexual misconduct with a child.
Francisco Vivar-Galvez, 69, faces six counts of sexual assault against a child under 14, and eight counts of lewdness with a child under 14.
The investigation started by Metro Police detectives Dec. 8 revealed that Vivar-Galvez provided before-school care during the 2012-13 academic year to a child at an apartment complex in the 3600 block of Swenson Street, near Twain Avenue.
Based on the investigation, Vivar-Galvez may have cared for several other children at the complex.
He is currently in custody at the Clark County Detention Center.
