Updated Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014 | 3:51 p.m.

Henderson Police say a man whose body was found Tuesday night after a house fire in the Anthem Country Club area was the victim of a homicide.

The fire was reported about 10:30 p.m. at a home in the 100 block of Holly Tree Court, near Anthem Parkway and Hampton Road, city of Henderson spokeswoman Kathleen Richards said in a statement.

A man in his 20s was found unconscious in the house and was transported to St. Rose Dominican Hospital — Siena Campus, Richards said.

The man suffered injuries that were not a result of the fire, she said. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Nobody else was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, Richards said.

Police are searching for the man’s black 2015 Toyota 4Runner with Nevada license plate 860-XFG.

The man’s name and cause of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

Anyone with additional information on the case can call Henderson Police at 702-267-4750. Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or online at crimestoppersofnv.com.
