letter to the editor:

Global warming isn’t complicated

The author of the Dec. 11 letter “New math clouds global warming” was confounded by the amount of carbon dioxide produced by burning one gallon of gas. He didn’t offer any answers to explain his solution.

The author is roughly six years late with this question, as it was explained in scientific terms by an individual named Blinkin in a publication called News Junkie. The answer is given in scientific terms, which may be a source of confusion.

A simple Internet search focuses directly on the author’s doubt that his question has no explanation. It certainly does, as the aforementioned site explains with links directing the reader to many related areas of global warming.

Something to stun the author might be the amount of methane gas released into the atmosphere by millions of cattle that roam the ranges.

Perhaps he can provide an answer for this event of global warming — in scientific terms if necessary.

There is no doubt that global warming is something this generation will pass on to those in the future — our children and grandchildren.

Shame on us!
