What modern-day invention can you not live without?
Definitely the smartphone, but next to that, tinted sunscreen!

King Ludwig II of Bavaria. Did he really commit suicide or was he was murdered?
Name your favorite television series and why?
"Game of Thrones" because it is so smart. George R.R. Martin is brilliant.
What moral values are essential for a successful career?
Compassion, ambition and never allowing yourself to get too comfortable.
How do you define happiness?
Freeing yourself from the negativity of others.
How do you defuse stress or tension?
Meditate 20 minutes in the morning and afternoon. It has changed everything for me.
What is your favorite pick-up line?
"Are you my appendix? Don't understand how you work, but want to take you out."
Any guilty pleasure(s)?
Athletic shoes and ballet flats. I have way too many.
What is your most embarrassing public moment?
Hugging a woman I thought was a friend, but she was a complete stranger.
What words best describe the city you live in?
Indescribable.
What is the most difficult task you’ve accomplished this year?
Traveling outside of the country. It's scary at first but so rewarding and amazing.
What is the most important topic for the Nevada Legislature to address during the 2015 session?
Education and children's safety.
Any regrets this past year?
Not going to more UNLV volleyball games. What an amazing team this season!
What is your top priority moving into 2015?
To not be so quick to assume, slow down and enjoy things more.
